How to choose the right size?Updated 2 months ago
Choosing the right size is key to helping your little one sleep safely and comfortably. At molis&co, all our products — sleeping bags and sleepsuits — are designed to grow with your baby, offering a natural, soft, and relaxed fit that allows freedom to move and dream peacefully.
Here’s how to find the perfect fit for your child.
🧸 1. Choose by height, not by age
Every baby grows at their own pace, so it’s best to choose the size based on your baby’s height, not their age.
This ensures the sleeping bag or sleepsuit fits safely around the shoulders and chest without being too loose or too tight.
🌙 2. Size guide — Sleeping bags
Our sleeping bags are made to maintain the right temperature through the night while letting your baby move comfortably.
| Size | Sleeping bag length | Recommended baby height |
|---|---|---|
| Newborn | 60 cm | 40–56 cm |
| 0–6 months | 70 cm | 56–68 cm |
| 6–18 months | 85 cm | 65–82 cm |
| 18–36 months | 95 cm | 82–95 cm |
Designed for a loose and comfortable fit.
☁️ 3. Size guide — Sleepsuits (with legs)
Perfect for little ones who crawl or walk, our sleepsuits let them move freely while staying covered and cozy all night.
| Size | Sleepsuit length | Recommended child height |
|---|---|---|
| 3–6 months | 60 cm | 60–70 cm |
| 1 year | 70 cm | 70–80 cm |
| 2 years | 80 cm | 80–90 cm |
| 3 years | 90 cm | 90–100 cm |
| 4–5 years | 100 cm | 100–110 cm |
| 6–7 years | 117 cm | 110–120 cm |
Designed for a loose fit that keeps your little one comfy and free to move.
✨ 4. A safer and cozier sleep
Always check that the neckline fits well, not too loose or too tight.
The length should allow movement without dragging on the floor.
Combine the correct size with the right TOG according to the room temperature (see our TOG Guide).
The sleeping bag should have a bell shape from the hips down to help prevent hip dysplasia and allow free movement of the legs.
