How to wash and care for sleeping bags?Updated 2 months ago
Washing Instructions:
Wash in cold or lukewarm water (max. 30 °C). This will help prevent shrinking and keep the fabric soft.
Use a mild detergent. Avoid products with strong fragrances or harsh chemicals, as a baby’s skin is very delicate.
Do not use fabric softener. Even though it smells nice, it reduces the breathability of the fabric, which isn’t ideal for a baby who needs to regulate their body temperature.
Gentle spin cycle. Choose a delicate wash program to preserve the shape and filling of the sleeping bag.
Air dry. The best option is to let it dry in a well-ventilated space. If you use a dryer, make sure it’s on a low temperature.
Do not iron. This helps maintain the structure and quality of the fabric.
Tips to help baby clothes last longer:
Stubborn stains: Treat them before washing with a gentle, baby-safe stain remover.
Wash separately: Wash baby clothes separately to avoid contact with residues from harsh detergents.
Don’t overload the washing machine: Leave enough space for the clothes to wash properly and avoid excess wear.
Proper storage: Store the sleeping bag in a dry, well-ventilated place to prevent moisture and odors.
