We work with certified materials and subject our products to tests that ensure they meet the standards required for children’s products.
These certifications and tests ensure that our sleeping bags, footed sleeping bags and other products have been developed with the baby’s wellbeing and families’ peace of mind in mind.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification
The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification is the world’s leading ecological label for textile products. The safety of little ones is our priority, which is why all our products — including threads, zippers and accessories — have been tested and certified as free from harmful chemicals and substances.
To ensure the quality and safety of our garments, we carry out analyses at AITEX, one of the leading textile research centers in Europe, certifying that our products are safe and gentle for babies’ skin.
The tests are carried out by independent OEKO-TEX® institutes under strict criteria, many of which go beyond national and international textile safety standards.
Cotton sourced through BCI
The cotton we use is also linked to the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a global initiative that promotes more responsible practices in cotton cultivation.
The goal of BCI is to improve the social, environmental and economic conditions in cotton production, encouraging farming methods that use water more efficiently and reduce environmental impact.
Through this initiative, we contribute to a more responsible supply chain within the textile industry.
Recycled materials with GRS certification
Our fiber is certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). This certification verifies that the recycled materials used in the products have been tracked and verified throughout the entire production chain. In addition, the standard also evaluates environmental, social and chemical criteria within the manufacturing process.
The use of certified recycled materials is part of our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of textile products.
Safety testing in our products
In addition to working with certified materials, our products undergo tests to ensure they comply with the regulations applicable to children’s textile products.
Footed sleeping bags
molis&co footed sleeping bags have been tested according to the following standards: EN 14878:2013 and EN 40902:2022.
These tests evaluate different aspects related to product safety and performance, ensuring that the product meets the requirements established for this type of garment.
Sleeping bags
Our baby sleeping bags are also subjected to specific tests that guarantee their safety and quality. The products have been tested according to the following standards: EN 16781:2018, EN 14878:2013 and EN 40902:2022.
These European regulations establish requirements related to the safety, design and performance of sleeping bags for babies.
