What should my baby wear at night?Updated 2 months ago
To keep your baby properly covered at night, you should combine the sleeping bag or sleepsuit with the right clothing depending on the room temperature. Here are some examples for each TOG level:
Summer TOG 0.5 / TOG 0.4 – a short-sleeved bodysuit or even just a diaper will be enough.
Mid-season TOG 1.0 – choose a long-sleeved bodysuit or a lightweight cotton sleepsuit.
Winter TOG 2.5 – combine a long-sleeved bodysuit with a warmer sleepsuit.
Below, you'll find a visual guide to make it easier to understand:

To make sure your little one isn’t too hot or too cold, check their temperature by touching their chest or the back of their neck: if they feel warm and dry, they’re dressed just right; if they’re sweating or their skin feels damp, remove a layer or use a lighter TOG.
This way, your baby will sleep safely, comfortably, and at the perfect temperature all night long – without the risk of uncovering or covering their face with loose blankets.
